FFB is conveyed to the Continuous Sterilization Chamber (double decks) with shorter sterilization period 60-80 minutes only at atmospheric pressure and lower back pressure and also with lower specific steam consumption.
It reduced many number of workers - more cost saving.
It is very safe and easy to operate. It reduced the potential threats of accident (since no pressure and does not require unsafe front end equipments)
It makes the mill more clean everyday with no oil leaking.
Milling efficiencies and product qualities are in line with conventional system
BOD value is greater than all conventional system

4) High DOBI can be achieved as it had been less handling.
5) Able to have zero backlog due to easy start up sterilization.
6) No man power is required to operate the CS as it can be controlled by front portion automation.
7) No peak required for sterilization as it had been continuosly cooking throughout the conveyor.

Disadvantages of Conventional Sterilizer system
1) Multiple FFB Handling due to usage of cages.
2) More space required due to construction of Sterilizer vessel and rails.
3) Pressurised vessel requires the need to have approval from JKKP.
4) Lower DOBI value is due to multiple handling of FFB.
5) Always have a backlog for purpose of process start up.
6) Manpower is required to monitor the operation of steriliser and cages handling.
7) Multiple peaks are required to enhance cooking such as holding peak.
