Managing Director Statement

First of all, I like to thank all my hardworking employees, valued business partners, excellent customers and Malaysian government, particularly MPOB for their continuous support and commitment over the establishment of Modipalm Continuous Sterilization (CS) System in the palm oil milling industry around the world.

With the increasing awareness of global warming (daily emissions of pollutants), claims of potential threats from the palm oil industry towards climate change, unexpected rise of operating costs from the mill and plantations and significant health risks imposed by other milling systems, we believe our system will possess significant values/ways to knock off these challenging issues. In addition to that, the CS system has the greatest ability to achieve greater zero oil spillage throughout the process which eventually leads to higher Oil Extraction Rate (i.e. Higher Earning Capacities).

From our client feedbacks on the level of accidental risks and the front end automation system, they absolutely gave us the "thumb up" response on the safety and healthy working environment within the mill.

However the early design of Modipalm CS System had its own weaknesses particularly on the use of link chain in the Sterilizer. Since 2007, we have rectified the issue and making the operational system even more robust to run and perform to its highest standards.

Modipalm thrusts itself very much into Business Process Re-engineering whether on the milling system, machinery or even spare parts. As without continuous improvement and research in what we do, we may become stagnant and continue to face today challenges as mentioned above.

In tandem with the aspirations of RSPO and WSDF, we will continue to pledge our commitment towards sustainable palm oil development and management and laying the foundation of lasting prosperity.

Thank you for your partnership and continuous trust in us.

LIM CHAI BENG
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Company Introduction

Modipalm Engineering Sdn Bhd was established as a wholly owned subsidiary in 2003 to commercialize the Continuous Sterilization technology that was jointly developed by CBIP and the Malaysia Palm Oil Board.

Modipalm Engineering Sdn Bhd was granted pioneer status effective March 2005 up to Feb 2015.
